Bhutanese Night
Hello. It’s not too cold this week, which helps me hugely in the studio with no heating!
こんにちわ。今週は寒すぎず、過ごしやすくて助かっています。
On wednesday night, we had our first world food night. My friend Bella used to do this in Bath, you pick one country without looking, and everyone brings food from the country. Our first country was Bhutan, it’s small country next to Nepal and China.
水曜日の夜に、初めての世界の料理ナイトを開催しました。 これは私の友達のBellaがバースでやっていたパーティーで、目隠しをして国を選んで、みんながその国の料理を作るというもので、私達の最初の国はブータンでした。
Some of us dressed up inspired by Bhutanese clothes. This is Scott↑ serving everyone.
一応ブータン風の服装という決まりで。スコット君がみんなのご飯をお皿に分けてくれました。
It was red rice salad, plain rice, curry wit 20 chilles in and some dumplings with green chili and garlic. It was delicious, but very spicy.
レッドライスサラダ、白いご飯、２０個の唐辛子入りカレー、餃子らしきものに青唐辛子とにんにくの詰め物。美味しかったけれど、とっても辛かった～。
We told our friend Hads, that we are playing game, and blind folded him, but game didn’t happen for ages. This is him, waiting paitiently.
友人のハズ君にゲームやるからといって目隠しをしたものの、なかなかゲームは始まらず、おとなしく待っているハズ君。
When the game started, they rolled around on the floor so much that I couldn’t focus.. It was great night over all! Next place is an island that is part of norway.
ゲームがやっと始まったら、今度は2人が床をごろんごろん転がるのでピントが合わせられず。。でも楽しい夜でした。次の世界の料理の国は、ノルウェー領の島です。
