Hello.

Cold weather has come back to London and I feel so sad that spring seems so so far away!

Last Sunday, I went to a concert where my cousin played piano alongside of soprano singer.

All the songs were traditional Japanese songs  like sakura sakura and momiji, apart from one song that my cousin made, which I thought was the best one.   It was so sensitive and beautiful, almost watching a film or something.

Afterwards, one of his piano students invited us over to her house, and we had a lovely time having dinner and drinking and talking.  I met a lot of nice people who are supportive to my cousin, that made me feel very happy, because life in London can be lonely without these lovely people around.

しばらく暖かかったロンドンですが、冷たい風が戻ってきました。春が来ると思っていたのでがっかり。

日曜日に、いとこのピアノコンサートに行ってきました。彼と、ソプラノ歌手の女性との日本歌曲のコンサートで、さくらさくらや、もみじなどの懐かしい曲が沢山でした。一曲だけ、いとこの作った曲があって、その曲は本当に素晴らしかった。とても繊細で美しく、まるで映画を見ているようでした。

その後に、いとこのピアノの生徒さんの家に招待され、ご飯を食べたり、お酒を飲んだり楽しい時間を過ごしました。いとこの音楽が好きだと言ってくださるお友達の方に沢山出会い、なんだかとても暖かい気持ちになりました。ロンドンで一人で生きて行くことの大変さは十分わかるだけに、彼がこれだけの人に支えられていてよかったなと思いました。
