Jersey
Hello.It's been a long time since I updated my blog last.I have done some freelance work for Nike, which was very exciting, and a week after that, I went to Jersey. Back in July, I had my work exhibited in Business Design Centre in Angel, London. And I had magazine press, interests from a few design agencies, and also, a teacher from a college in Jersey left me a message saying that she liked my work, and we kept in touch ever since. She invited me to have a workshop for the A-level textile students.They were very nice girls, and I really enjoyed teaching.こんにちは。毎日楽しいことがありすぎた１２月。月の初めにはNIKEの仕事が突然舞い降りてきた。刺繍だけど、初めての、ファッション以外の仕事。その次の週には離島のジャージー島に向う。元はといえば、ロンドンで展示を見に来てくださった、ジャージーの学校の先生と展示のあとも連絡をとりあっていたら、私の作品がとても好きだから彼女の学校で高校生向けに刺繍のワークショップをして欲しいとのこと。とってもいい子ばかりで、教えるのが楽しかった。つい1年前まで学生だった自分が教える立場なんて変な感じ。What I saw from window on the plane. They are usually very jolly and chatty, but when they are stitching, thery are very serious.授業の様子。いつもはおしゃべりな彼女たちだけれど、刺繍をしてるときは静か。集中してます。I was demonstrating how some embroidery techniques from magazine.雑誌にのってる洋服の刺繍も、簡単に再現できますよー。って言ってるところ。
