I went to Nottingham and back today for my freelance job.  It takes 3hours on the train.  My boss and I had a meeting about A/W 2010 collection.. Working ahead!I often plan my work, schedule, and do a little brainstorming on the train.   Best embroidery ideas come to my head when I'm traveling, which is a bit weird.   Today was the same.  I love multitasking.On the way back on the train, I finished reading a book by Yoko Ogawa.  What a beautiful story.  Book is about a woman who loses boyfriend by suicide, and she tries to find out why,,  Such an amazing book.  I felt very inspired.  I'm sure she is a very popular writer.Other than that, I must say that I keep getting feedback from people who saw my work at New Designers, which is very nice!  Few good news to come, but confidential for now!今日はノッティンガムまで行って来ました。 電車で3時間のちょっとした旅。 フリーランスデザイナーとして働いてる会社のボスに会って、早くも２０１０年の秋冬のコレクションの打ち合わせ。電車の旅とはなかなかいいもので、私はいつも電車の中で仕事をしたり、スケジュール調整をしたり、インスピレーションを広げたりしています。　なぜか刺繍のアイディアも電車に乗っている間にポンポン出てきます。　なんでかな。　昔から二つ、三つのことを一度にやるのが好きです。　得した気分。読書もしました。小川洋子の‘凍りついた香り’。調香師の恋人を自殺でなくした女性がその彼の足跡をたどる物語なんだけど、本当にいい話。　とってもインスパイアされる物語です。　小川洋子は博士の愛した数式を読んで以来はまって少しずつ集めているけど、本当に大好きな小説家です。日本で人気なのでしょうね。あとは、この前のロンドンの展示以来、見にきてくださった方からちょくちょくメールが来ています。結構幅広い分野で。いくつかいいニュースもあるのですが、まだ内緒です。またはっきりしたらお知らせします！
